About the Kids Team
We believe God is present and at work in kids and that they are full members of our church family. So in Refuge Kids, we provide a safe and engaging place where they too can experience Jesus’ love and build a relationship with him.
As a part of the team serving and teaching on Sundays, you will be blown away at how much Jesus will actually teach and transform your life through the kids!
Currently each person on this team teaches or volunteers once a month. If you are a teacher, an easy-to-follow curriculum, story, video lesson, and activity/craft is prepared in advance for you.
Kids Team Roles

Care for and love babies!

Teach and help preschoolers grow to know God's love!

Responsible for leading the children through a Bible story using a lesson and a video, as well as leading a game or craft (which will be prepped in advance).

Responsible for helping the lead teacher by monitoring and guiding the children during the activities.
Requirements
In order to be a part of the Refuge Kids team, all volunteers must:
Have been a part of Refuge for at least 3 months.
Willing to have a background check completed (don’t worry, Refuge pays for this).
Review and sign Refuge Abuse Policy Documents and send to amanda@refugeabq.com.
